I want to begin this morning by reciting part of an Aramaic poem. This poem is titled, Akdamut, and is believed to have been written around 1050 by a Jewish Rabbi named Meir Ben Isaac Nehorai, who was a prayer leader in Worms, Germany. (For those of you church historians out there, you might recall that Worms, Germany was where Marin Luther, the great Protestant Reformer, was called to renounce his 95 Thesis in 1591.)
