Habakkuk
How can we reconcile what we know about our good God with the moral and social chaos that we see around us? How can we reconcile God’s purposes for His people with the disastrous sins and failures of those same people? In this series on one of the Old Testament’s shortest (but by no means least important!) books, Pastor Lee shows that we have more in common with the prophet Habakkuk than we initially realize. As we observe troubles around us, we can turn to God in patient hope and earnest prayer, remembering that He is sovereign over history and working all things toward the fulfillment of His perfect will. As we gain an eternal perspective, we, too, can rejoice in God’s goodness - even amidst suffering.
